Jack Long writes: “The fitness station planned for Bendwood Part was approved by the Houston Parks Board on June 15th. The Houston Parks Board has ordered the equipment and selected a private contractor. The project should be complete by early August.”

New Family
Sheri and James Howard moved into 12634 Trail Hollow with their son and daughter. They moved to Fonn Villas from Briargrove in June.
Qi Ling and Yinghna Zhang and their children moved into 611 Val Lena in May. They can be reached at qling@netzero.net.
Protect your home
Summer is a time for vacations and relaxation, but don’t forget to be vigilant about your home security while you are gone. Let neighbors know if you are going out of town, have a neighbor pick up your mail, and adjust your paper delivery schedule.
Another way to protect your home and Fonn Villas is to sign up for COP. Contact Nick Hiemstra to volunteer for this valuable program. A good neighborhood watch program is a great supplement for other security measures.

Fonn Villas 50th Birthday Celebration
A group of residents are starting to organize our 50th birthday party. We’d especially like to get connected with residents who have lived in Fonn Villas for a long time.
